We got all dressed up, put on our happy faces, and got ready for a night of dancing and fun at the Temple Walkabout (an Australian pub).

After we left the flat, our night started out with a bit of a bump. The evil Natwest bank machine ate Kelly's debit card! EVIL! Especially with the hassle that it is in this city to get a new bank card. Not a happy event! It only fuelled our desire for a stress-free night out more!
Marzena & I having a great tie on the tube, singing along to perhaps I Will Wait by Mumford & Sons (our current favourite song) or Don't Stop Believing. Thank you iPhone speakers. :)
Thanks to the wonderous excellance of Facebook, I found out that 2 new friends that Kelly & I had met at the Vision teacher social a few weeks ago were also going to be at the Temple Walkabout. So, we got to spend the night with Pheobe & Derek! Pheobe is from Australia (so have no fear, those of you thinking "They went to an Aussie pub without an Aussie", you can relax now!) and Derek is a fellow Canadian from Saskatchewan.

We all had a great night out. We danced, we sang, we laughed, and we drank a bit...haha. I definitely want to go back to Temple Walkabout again. I mean, where else can you hear One Direction, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and other current Top 40 hits, as well as classics like the Spice Girls, the song Stacey's Mom, and other songs that a lot of people are afraid to admit they love!
This part kind of goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. I have great friends here in London. I realize now that good friendships take time to build, and you just have to be patient in the meantime. I love you all! :)
