A Few Other French Notables

Since I don't plan on making any more trips to France on my adventures abroad, there are a few interesting things I saw on this trip that I would like to mention.

1. Nice is much more beautiful than Paris, in my opinion. While yes, the Eiffel tower is worth a see, I think the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea and the views of the South of France is much more picturesque.

2. One of my all-time favourite television shows One Tree Hill is....Les Freres Scott? Does One Tree Hill not translate in French? Why does it have a completely different name? Not the The Brothers' Scott isn't an applicable title. But, it's still Les Simpsons, it's still Desperate Housewives, it's still Glee & Gossip Girl in France, so why isn't it still One Tree Hill?

3. They may just have a different way of dressing...

I think this woman had on everything in her wardrobe! Plus, she was trying on clothes and accessories on top of what she was already wearing! Not to mention she also has fishnet stockings on under all of that. 

4. Laundry is hung outside, below windows in some areas. I feel as though this would be very hard to put out there. I'm afraid I might lean too far out my window and fall right out!

5. And just not sure what to make of this...

6. Gasoline anyone? The most interesting gas station I have ever seen...just pull over and fill your tank!
